Hand knitting pattern - Wilbur puppy baby sweater

A baby jumper design with a puppy dog face on the front, and paw prints on the sleeves. this is made in yarn from the Border Leicester sheep, dating back to the middle ages. This breed is on the rare breeds list so is in need of conservation, its wool is particularly soft and has a luster which makes it show stitch detail well.

The pattern is easy knitting but involves intarsia, which would suit an intermediate-level knitter.

Yarn weight = DK and the needle size is 4mm.

The pattern grades to 5 sizes as below :-

Size 1 = 0/3 mths,

Size 2 = 3/6 mths

Size 3 = 6/12 mths

Size 4 = 1 / 2 yrs

Size 5 = 3yrs
