The Ark Magazine from the Rare Breeds Survival Trust (RBST) published its quarterly edition this Autumn. The RBST fights for a healthy, diverse natural environment by ensuring that rare British breeds thrive for years to come.
This edition features the work I have been doing with 10 London City Farms to process their fleeces into high-quality, sustainable yarn. The project will create a yarn that the farms can use to generate revenue for their crucial community lead programs out of fleece that was typically unused.
I will also be using the yarn in my knitwear brand, showcasing the importance of using native British sheep wool in the production of knitwear garments.
