Erin Sustainable Handmade Artisan Quilted Knit Gilet | Ethical Knitwear

The Erin gilet was designed as a modern and sustainable option to the traditional Diamond patterned gilets, traditionally padded with polyester, this gilet is made using a new technique, a knitted quilt stitch, created on my hand flat knitting machine, using sheep’s fleece to fill the pattern this garment is not only 100% bio-degradable but it is also modern and stylish.

• Made from 100% British wool, each yarn can be traced back to individual farms.
• All the yarns I use are from the UK and from farms that practice good animal welfare standards, and regenerative, or organic methods.
• These yarns are sourced from heritage sheep breeds specifically to promote the 62+ native British sheep breeds.
• These garments are made in London, using local hand knitters and my own domestic knitting machine.
• This style is made to order so please allow 6-8 weeks for delivery.
• This garment measures approximately 60cm in body length.
• Offered in two sizes – S/M and M/L.
